What this app is

Ask Lumi is a Vedic astrology app made by ANANTLUMINA LLC. It computes a birth chart from the information you provide and writes interpretations grounded in classical astrological technique. See our Privacy Policy for what data we collect and how it's used.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if that's higher, to create an AnantLumina account. We don't independently verify your age and rely on your own representation that you meet this requirement.

Chart profiles for family members, including minors, can only be created and managed by an adult account holder — minors don't create their own accounts or have a separate login. See Family profiles and children in our Privacy Policy for how the app adjusts its content when a profile belongs to a minor.

Not professional advice

Astrological interpretations are provided for entertainment, reflection, and personal insight — they are not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and should not be treated as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. The app is designed to decline requests that seek medical, legal, or financial advice specifically, and is not equipped to handle mental-health crises — if you are in crisis, please contact a crisis line or emergency services in your area, not this app.

Accuracy

Chart calculations are computed using established astronomical/astrological methods, but no guarantee is made that any prediction or interpretation will be accurate or will come true. Astrology is presented here as a classical interpretive tradition, not a scientifically validated predictive system. Readings are grounded in classical astrological technique, but they remain interpretations of that tradition, not verified facts about your future — please use your own judgment in how you read and act on what this app tells you, and treat it as a lens for reflection, not a certainty.

Your account and data

• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You may create profiles for family members; you are responsible for the accuracy of the birth information you enter and for having the right to enter it on their behalf.
• You can delete individual conversations or your entire account at any time — see the Privacy Policy for details.

License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use AnantLumina for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app; copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute any part of it; or use it to build a competing product or service.

Ownership

AnantLumina — including its software, design, and the classical-text synthesis it generates from your chart — is owned by ANANTLUMINA LLC and protected by intellectual property law. This doesn't extend to the birth information and other data you enter, which remains yours, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Automated processing and artificial intelligence

Chart calculations (planetary positions, houses, divisional charts, dasha timelines) are deterministic — computed directly from the birth data you provide using established astronomical methods, not generated by an AI model. Written interpretations and chat answers are generated using Google's Vertex AI (Gemini); under Google's standard Vertex AI terms, data submitted through that processing is not used to train Google's underlying models.

Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the app itself, you agree we may use them freely, without any obligation to you. This doesn't apply to your chart profiles, questions, or conversation content, which remain governed by our Privacy Policy.

Access

Anyone can create a free account with a verified email address (email and password, or Google). A free account includes your birth chart, your Life Story, the general transit readings, two chart profiles, and two free questions to try Lumi.

To do more, you can take a plan, and plan holders can also buy credits (see Plans and Credits below). We may suspend or end access as described under Termination and account deletion.

Plans

What a plan is. Plans are subscriptions, billed monthly; some are also offered yearly. Each plan gives you a monthly allowance of questions and a set number of chart profiles. The current plans, and their prices for your country, are shown before you buy.

Where you buy. In the Android app, through Google Play. On the web, in the United States only, through our web checkout (RevenueCat Web Billing, with card payments by Stripe). We work out your country from your IP address, only to decide whether to offer web checkout.

Renewal and cancellation. A plan renews automatically until you cancel it: in Google Play if you bought in the app, or from the link in your receipt email if you bought on the web. If you cancel, your plan stops renewing at the end of the current billing period — it does not end immediately. You keep full access for the rest of the period you've already paid for.

Monthly questions. A question uses one from your allowance; reports and readings use more, as shown in the app before you spend. Unused questions carry over to the next month, up to one month's worth, so your balance is never more than twice your monthly allowance. If your plan ends and you subscribe again later, you start with a fresh allowance.

Refunds

App purchases (Google Play). Google Play's refund policy applies. Within 48 hours of a purchase you can request a refund from Google Play directly; after that, contact us and we'll consider it.

Web purchases (United States). We follow the same approach. Within 48 hours of a purchase, email AnantLumina@gmail.com from your account's email address with the date of your receipt, and we'll refund it. After 48 hours, payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or at our discretion (for example, a duplicate charge or a purchase that never reached your account).

Cancelling is not a refund. Cancelling a plan takes effect at the next billing cycle: it stops the next renewal and does not refund the current period, which you keep using until it ends.

What a refund does. If a plan payment is refunded, the plan ends and its remaining monthly questions are removed. If a credit pack is refunded, its credits are removed. Top-up credits you keep can be used while you have an active plan (and for 7 days after it ends), as described under Credits.

Credits

What credits are. Credits pay for questions, reports and readings beyond your plan's monthly questions. What each one costs is shown in the app before you spend.

Top-up credits. Credit packs are available only while you have a plan. Credits bought this way can be used while your plan is active and for 7 days after it ends. After that they are paused, not lost: if you subscribe again, your unused top-up credits can be used again.

Other credits. Credits you held before top-up credits were introduced, and credits we grant (for example to beta testers or as a goodwill gesture), do not expire.

Order of use. Your free questions are used first, then your plan's monthly questions, then top-up credits, then other credits.

When you aren't charged. If an answer, report or reading can't be produced, what it used is returned automatically to where it came from (plan questions from a month that has already ended are not returned). You also aren't charged when Lumi asks you to narrow a question or declines one that's out of scope.

Other terms. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred. They are non-refundable, except where the law or the store's refund policy requires. If a purchase of credits is refunded by the store or payment provider, we remove those credits.

User conduct

You agree not to:

• use AnantLumina for anything illegal, or that violates another person's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to our systems;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, or bulk-extract content from the app;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
• upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the app's operation; or
• use the app to build a competing product or service.

Third-party services

Ask Lumi relies on third-party services to operate: Google Firebase (sign-in, data storage, hosting), Google Vertex AI (Gemini, for writing interpretations), Google Play (purchases in the Android app), RevenueCat (managing plans and purchases, in the app and on the web), and Stripe (card payments for web purchases in the United States). Each is governed by its own terms and privacy practices, and we aren't responsible for their availability or performance.

Termination and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time — see Retention and deletion in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where reasonably possible. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Ownership, Limitation of liability, and Indemnification — continue to apply.

Electronic communications

By creating an account, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including emails about your account and service changes, and — if you opt in — product updates. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ANANTLUMINA LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the app, or decisions you make based on interpretations the app provides.

Limitation of liability

This app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app's operator is not liable for any decisions made, or outcomes experienced, based on interpretations provided by this app.

Force majeure

We aren't liable for any failure or delay in the app's operation caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet or cloud-provider outages, or other circumstances we couldn't reasonably plan for.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at the email below — we'll try to resolve it informally before either of us pursues a formal claim.

Modifications to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you — for example, by email or an in-app notice — before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

General provisions

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and ANANTLUMINA LLC regarding the app, superseding any prior agreements on this subject. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
